The Power to Fight

Slowly opening his eyes from being sucked into a portal, Syaoran sees a ball of fire approaching him and Sakura. Of course, he stays in front of her and guards her from the fire. Then the fire changes itself into a wolf and identifies Syaoran as a person fit to wield his (the wolf's) powers.

The thing he knows, his eyes open to see Mokona. Kurogane and Fai have already woken up, just not Sakura because her body is getting colder and colder. Before Syaoran could say anything more, a resident of this world approaches them. He tells them that a fight is about to occur, and they all move to a safer spot. One gang, consisting of men with mohawks and really small glasses, show up on one side of the area while another gang, consisting of men with long hair but tied, goggles, and scarves, show up on the other side. The fight begins after they declare the final battle for the area they are in.

Fire balls from the hands of the mohawks, and water balls from the hands of the goggles, the battle goes on. While watching a fight between gangs and kudans, Fai notices a feather that was stuck to Syaoran's robe. He took it in his hand, and was about to put it near Sakura, but something hit near them and the feather was out of his grasp. Chasing Sakura's feather across the bridge, Syaoran found himself in the middle of a fight.

Getting a hold on the feather, he was about to get hit. Fortunately, he was shielded by fire - his fire kudan had emerged. Kurogane was rather impressed, and the boy known as Masayoshi explained that kudans had different levels. Back on the battle field, Asagi Shogo of the gang with water kudans has gained interest in Syaoran. Knowing he knows power to protect Sakura, he agrees to battle him after Asagi shows his water kudan. The fight between kudans is about to begin.
