Beloved Daughter of God After a night of peaceful rest, Kurogane decides that they'll attack the castle. Chun Hyang is confident that the villagers would help out with the attack. When they leave the house to talk to Sorata, head of the group, Ryuban is watching over Chun Hyang to see what she's planning. As they discuss, Sorata is terribly sorry that they cannot help with the attack because they can not risk losing anymore villagers to the castle. He then recalls the time two of his men were sucked into the gate, where they will never come back. They leave shortly after, and stop by one of the gates of the castle. Arashi (who was at the discussion) runs up to them and asks Chun Hyang that she'll understand what Sorata meant. Neither of them could help but look disappointed. Suddenly Sakura announces that she has to go to the castle, then she becomes unconscious. Her body glows and levitates to the gate, which opens her and takes her in. Syaoran wanted to go after her, but Chun Hyang stopped him, telling him whoever went in would never come out. Yet, Syaoran could not accept that fact. He said it was going to be okay, and he would bring Sakura back. Making his decision, the went through the gate as well. Back at home, Fai is fixing the roof while Kurogane is in the room. Their conversation is cut short when Chun Hyang comes back to tell them what has happened. They go back to the gate that Sakura went through, and they try to figure out what to do next. Meanwhile inside the gate, Syaoran is calling out to Sakura, and eventually finds her. However, before he could reach her, Ryuban decides to torture them with fire storms and falling boulders. Syaoran still reaches Sakura thought, and they are happy to be united again. Their happiness is cut short though when bright red eyes look at them in the darkness. Outside the gate, Chun Hyang and Arashi had gathered a bunch of villager men, and Chun Hyang was trying desperately to convince them to help out. Back inside the gate, more red eyes appear to look at the human couple. Sakura decides by herself to approach the owners of the eyes. Syaoran fears for her safety and stops infront of her to protect her. Yet Sakura isn't afraid and tells him to wait. She puts a hand on the beast before her, and tears form in her eyes. She can read the thoughts of these beasts, and she tells Syaoran that they were once villagers. An orb of light from above comes down, speaking to Sakura about her character. Sakura had approached and touched these disgusting beasts without hesitiation; a true girl adored by the gods. The spirit told her that these beasts would revert back to their normal selves (being human etc), only if they could defeat the lord of the country. With that said, Sakura glowed with the help of the spirit. Sakura took Syaoran's hand and together they came back out of the gate. Chun Hyang ran up to hug her, and the men were convinced now. Sorata said they could try another attack, but it would take a while to gather all the men again. Meanwhile, Ryuban uses the power of the feather to awaken the demon witch that he's held captive in the castle.
