Reads Here some stories from Tsubasa Chronicle that you can read for your own amusement. All these stories are taken from both the anime and the manga.Legend of Princess Emeraude Quote from Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle Volume 4, Told by a manager:Long ago, in a castle just outside that town to the north there was a beautiful princess with locks of gold. One day, a bird with a feather in its beak flew down to where the princess stood. It gave the feather to the princess and said this, "This feather is power, a strange and wonderful power, and I give it to you." And the princess took the feather. Soon after, the king and queen died and the castle passed to the princess. With that, the children of the castle's town began to disappear one by one, as if they were drawn to the feather. And the children never returned. Princess Emeraude's Story Quote from Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle Volume 5, Told by Emeraude:Father and mother died in an accident. After that, there was a disease that affected only children, and it spread through the castle's town. It was then that the feather floated down to me. It was only in the presence of the feather that the disease lost its power. With all the bad crop seasons, there was famine, and I wanted to help any way I could. I invited all of the town's children to the castle until they were cured. So when it said that no parents were ever able to hold their children in their laps again, it means they were a little older when they returned completely cured. Ashura-ou and Yasha-ou Quote from Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle Volume 10, Told by a Ashura:He's head, he died quite a long time ago. The feather caused it [the mirage of Yasha] to come into being. It was a transient thing that only seemed alive. The battle with the Yasha clan was a long one. One day, as I crossed swords with Yasha-ou.. the realization came. Yasha-ou had contracted a disease. We should have been evenly watched, and yet my sword injured Yasha-ou. The disease was at fault. One day, Yasha-ou arrived. He came to Shura castle in the heart of our country. It should have been impossible to meet him anywhere but on the moon castle. His presence was proof. Yasha-ou had died. He was nothing but a spirit, and came to see me. However on the next day, Yasha-ou was there at the moon castle. He was an illusion created by the power in that feather. It was a Yasha-ou unscarred by my blade, and nothing in my power was sufficient to send him away. Even though it was no more than a simple illusion. |
